MakomGlobal Ltd. ("MakomGlobal", "we", "our", or "us") operates makomglobal.com — an international marketplace connecting buyers worldwide with real estate opportunities in Israel. This Privacy Policy explains what personal data we collect, why we collect it, how we use and protect it, and your rights.

1. Information We Collect

We collect information you provide when creating an account, subscribing, booking tours, or contacting support — including name, email, phone, and payment details. We also collect usage data automatically (IP address, browser type, pages viewed).

2. Google API Services — Limited Use Disclosure

MakomGlobal's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

Agents on MakomGlobal may optionally connect their Google Calendar account. When an agent does so, we request read access to their Google Calendar for the sole purpose of identifying free and busy time slots, so that buyers can only book virtual property tours during the agent's available times.

We read calendar event times only to determine when the agent is unavailable.
We do not read event titles, descriptions, attendee lists, or locations.
We do not create, modify, or delete calendar events.
We do not sell, transfer, or use Google user data for advertising.
We do not use Google user data for AI training or any purpose beyond scheduling availability.

Agents can revoke calendar access at any time from Account Settings, or from their Google Account permissions page. We delete cached availability data within 30 days of disconnection.

3. How We Use Your Information

We use your data to operate the platform, process bookings and payments, match buyers with agents, display agent availability for tour scheduling, send service notifications, personalise property recommendations, and comply with legal obligations.

4. Sharing Your Information

We do not sell your data. We share it only with: agents when a buyer books a tour or requests a property; trusted service providers operating under confidentiality agreements; and authorities when required by law.

5. Data Security & Retention

We use TLS encryption, encrypted storage, and role-based access controls. Account data is deleted within 90 days of account closure. Transaction records are retained for 7 years to comply with financial regulations.

6. Your Rights

You may request access, correction, deletion, or portability of your personal data at any time by emailing [email protected]. EU and UK users have the right to lodge a complaint with their local data protection authority.
